Earlier this year, our CEO Jo Whitfield, alongside other members of our team, spent the day at Alder Hey Children's hospital to celebrate ten years of our partnership.

We spent the day with Fiona Ashcroft, CEO of the Charity, Hayley Thomas, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Alder Hey Children’s Charity Office, and Nathan Askew, Chief of Nursing.

From supporting appeals like '7 in 10 Children's Mental Health' to rocking the 'Alder Hey Surgical Neonatal' campaign, we've been on a journey – and it's far from over. To really get an insight on what our fundraising has achieved, our team also had the privilege of a tour around the hospital including, Ward 4A a vital space which treats children and young people with various muscular and skeletal issues, the new Neonatal Unit Build and the Research and Education centre.

Proud Moment Alert: We also announced our 10-year fundraising total, reaching an incredible £4.4m!

And the celebrations didn't stop there, we also…

• Held a 'design your pyjamas' art and craft station for patients and those attending appointments
• Gave away PJs, mugs and teddy bears from our campaigns
• Shared out cupcakes and colourful colouring sheets to current inpatients on the wards

Spreading smiles throughout the hospital, it was a great way to celebrate an amazing decade of partnership with Alder Hey!
