At Matalan, we know how important it is to support our internal talent to grow and develop by providing opportunities to progress. Our Fast Track programme is a structured development opportunity where a colleague steps into a vacant role for six months working on agreed objectives with the aim of securing the permanent role upon successfully completing the programme.
Our Fast Track programme is for those colleagues who are on their way towards a promotion and apply for a vacant role. To prepare for success in the role, they work closely with their line manager and a mentor over the six-month period giving ongoing support and development to bridge any skills gaps and to make sure they're set up for success.
Our Tailor Made Leadership programme provides leadership development options to build the skills of our leaders across the business, regardless of their role or business area. The programme lets leaders choose the development opportunities most relevant to them and their role, to tailor make their development here at Matalan.
