We’ve been bursting with Pride this June, colleagues have come together across the organisation to recognise and support the LGBTQ+ community. Being real is one of our core values and, we’re dedicated to creating a community where everyone is welcome, accepted and can bring their whole selves to work. Here are a few highlights of how we’ve been raising the rainbow flag:

The amazing Reeta Loi joined us for an inspirational webinar exploring what Pride really means, touching on the history, politics and motivation behind the movement

Colleagues showed their support and solidarity by rocking their brightest and most colourful outfits on Wear it with Pride day

Stores and the Support Hub also got a make-over, dressed to the nines with some Pride spirit

We had a fantastic day raising awareness at the Cardiff Pride Parade – and we're sooo excited to have Glasgow and Liverpool parades still to come in July.

It doesn’t stop there though. Pride helps shine a light on LGBTQ+ issues and identity each year but equality, diversity and inclusion are part of our everyday at Matalan.
